I recently received my Master of Arts degree in United States History, with a concentration in Applied History with an emphasis in New Media and Digital Technology from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia

I am also a Program Assistant at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History. In this role, I oversee the care and maintenance of the performance plaza kitchen, as well as prepare for cooking demonstrations that occur on the performance plaza stage.

My passion for preserving the past and presenting historical narratives to the public has driven my career toward the museum profession. I am interested in all aspects of the museum field, but am especially drawn to roles that increase learning, such as education and programming. My academic work, professional experience, and ability to work well both in group and individual settings makes me a great candidate not only for museum jobs, but for a variety of other occupations as well.
